forgot about Sunday, but I am now 169! So 12 pounds so far, but hey, slow and steady wins the race!!!

OK. Sunday has rolled around and it’s time to step on the scale!!!
171 lbs!! That means in two weeks I have lost 10 pounds.
in your face, baby weight.
You’re doing SO well, Sage!! I am so proud of your effort you’re putting in! its not easy but you’ll get through! I definitely understand getting hurt when you see that your mom is in better shape (trust me, I work out with your Uncle) but those Strawn genes are awesome so we can’t compare ourselves to them! We need to remember to stay on top of our own abilities and keep motivated! Turn the negatives into positives and reframe your thoughts to empower yourself and not keep yourself down! Whats going on with the smoking? Keep plugging along my love! LOVE YOU!! SO PROUD! -S
6. Drink A Green Monster
Think you can’t live without your morning coffee? Trade it for this nutrient-packed drink once and you’ll change your mind. “I usually have [this] for breakfast and then don’t need to have coffee,” says Joanna Chodorowska, a nutrition and triathlon coach in North Whales, Pennsylvania.
Here’s how to make it: In a juicer, combine 2-4 leaves of kale, 2-4 leaves of romaine lettuce, 1 inch ginger root, half a lemon (with the seeds removed), one apple (cored), and a clove of garlic (optional for cleansing and boosting immune system).
Chodorowska says you can use this as a base and add other dark greens, carrots, celery, beets, or even an orange or pear instead of the apple to make your own signature energy drink.
Don’t have a juicer? This creamy blend is just as effective at boosting energy (and tastes like an indulgent dessert!) and only requires a blender.
I feel really great about the food and amount of water I am consuming. I guess you really are what you eat. I have also cut coffee out of my life, which is amazing, because I never thought I would be able to do that. But that was where a lot of my sugar was coming from. That tasty hazelnut creamer with a ridiculous amount of sugar in it. Ba-bye!. Last night, I made Albert and I chicken, which I fried in coconut oil, asparagus, and cauliflower mash. It was tasty goodness and healthy to boot! I also did my dorky netflix work-out video: Cardio Dance Blast, along with my Yoga Burn video. On top of that, I went on a hike with my momma!! On this hike, however, it became apparent that my mother is in much better shape than I am. Depressing, but motivating. It’s a new day today and I plan to clean up, and hang out with the little one, then mom and I are going to go for a walk. Can’t wait for Sunday weigh-day. I am going to do measurements of my waist and hips also.
Ugh. Not even going to talk about the smoking.
